so i watched my airbags deploy in my face this morning..... apparently, a lady jogging with her dog, ran out from behind a building to cross 16th ave, guy 2 cars up jumps on his brakes and stops, car in front of me does the same, i didnt react quick enuff, and my nice 02 santiago yellow kia ate the rear end of a 01 forester...... and accordianed it ........ airbags have a horrible taste/smell to em.... i realize now that i was pelted from behind with a box of thongs and vibrators (from my moms business, pervs.....) my knee is fawked from slamming into the dash. least i didnt have my subs in the car..... and i remembered to grab all my cds and valuables before they took my mangled car remains to the impound......... needless to say. its been a GREAT morning, my plans have changed from buying new pants, gloves and boot laces, and checkin out the price of drums. to dealing with insurance claims, car rentals and an understanding yet still incredibly upset mother...... it could have been worse..... if id been in the curb lane i probly would have hit the lady and her dog......., and if it had been yesterday i would have been driving a big *** UPS truck that would have done alot more damage to the forester......

yea the years of playin and coaching football have taught me the difference between pain and injury, im just in a bit of pain, muscles bein pissed off about having to stop my head from comin off my body and whatnot... the knee is pretty much the same, nothin a couple ibuprofen cant handle.
ive already started lookin for a new car but im not sure how this will work with my insurance company, cus it was financed the car was covered to the nutz with insurance, depreciation loss protection and all that jazz, but im still worried the insurance company will say "the car is worth 12,000, u still owe the bank 15,000. so u keep paying them the difference and we got the 12000." then i have to figure out how to keep paying the 300 a month for the car, PLUS scrape up a down payment and make monthly payments on a new car......
or as ive heard from one or 2 people will the insurance company simply say look the cars a write off, just go back to the dealer and get a new one and start makin your payments again from scratch with the difference of what ive paid so far on the old one as a down payment.....
THEN i get to deal with my insurance going up undoubtedly cus i rearended someone...
man what a hassle......
and the worst part is, KIA no longer uses the santiago yellow...... closest thing is the yellow honda is using on some civics now..... and i hate civics....... lol
but ive been lookin at everything so far, golf CL, matrix, vibe, sunfire, what ever happened to the sunfires and cavis bein 12600???? damn things are 16k now....... stupid growing economy.......

so some good news i just found basically an exact copy of my car forsale at the same dealership with about 15k km less then ours for just under $11k.....so theres a possibility of what i might replace the car with, either that or an 04 rally blue rio for bout $17k.... it comes down to what the insurance company decides to do....
but rough figuring if i get the 02 rio with no down payment, my monthly payment drops from 333 now to 192..... maybe a little silver lining?
