i dont think any of the imports there were built with any sort of performance in mind. save for the 300 / 350z's

 

dude two words...RX-8....ok it's one word but this has 1.3L, 247hp out of the box, how is that not performance???

 

because mazda lied about the 247 hp, it only has 238 hp at the crank / flywheel.

in fact when new RX-8 owners got it they noticed it was lacking as well.

a large number of them took it to the dyno and tested it out. they came up with numbers like 185.6hp and 192.5 hp at the rear wheels.

this accounts for more than a 17% loss or so.

Mazda has offered a 4 year free service coupon and $500 cash back to all new owners of RX-8's because they lied about it's power.

how is that for performance?

 

I really like that old yellow civic hatch. I also like the Gen 1 Jetta! I love old school compacts!

the WRX is nice, I like the rims especially
