script error upon opening message window in yahoo messenger?

Hey folks,

After of my recent format and install, or when i downloaded the newest yahoo messenger (not sure which) I get a script error open either opening a message window or receiving a message from someone.

As of 18 seconds ago, i've uninstalled and reinstalled yahoo messenger, just to be on the safe side.

I'll continue this message after i please the install and restart.

OK, so the reinstall changed nothing other than losing my settings (DOH).

"Internet Explorer Scirpt Error

! An error has occurred int he script on this page:

Line: 107
Char: 2
Error: Access is denied
Code: 0
URL: it creates a temp file which gets deleted either as soon as i close the script error window or the message window.

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? yes or no"

Choosing yes/no makes no difference, but as soon as i choose one the message window pops up and i can either type or read if they messaged me. From there all is peachy till i try to open another message window.

Anywho, eventhough IE is set to disable the script debugging and the displaying of script bugging notifcations, they still pop up. I can't find much on the yahoo website about it. Anyone else have this problem or heard of it and have a solution. It's annoying me.

Looks to be a somewhat common problem, but no one seems to have an answer.

BTW it's win xp sp2
yahoo messenger 8.0.0.701
and still IE 6.whatever is the most recent
