Seller tries to rob buyer on our forum...

Rundown went like this....
Member 'tigerpg' agreed to meet up with another member 'TeamAcura' in order to purchase an $1100 ($3000 new, twoo weeks ago) laptop from him. They set a time and place at a mall, in front of a store at 8:30. 'tigerpg' shows up with his gf, but no sign of the seller. The seller, TeamAcura, calls up 'tigerpg' on his cell, and and tells him he's been waiting for him just down the road or something. When tigerpg shows up, he notices it's dark, but still fairly crowded/busy. He didnt think anything of it. He sees who he's supposed to meet, and and gets out of the car to go see him. He notices other people in the car with him. Team Acura gets out as well, and greets tigerpg, and opens his trunk to show him the laptop. As he's opening his trunk a 3rd person comes and puts a 'fake' gun to tigerpg's back. They began to demand him for his money. He ended up pushing and punching his way out (he felt that it was a toy gun, probably plastic he said), and ran back to his car. A white car happend to drive near while this was happening and the others all jumped into their car and drove off!
So far we found that it could have been somebody else using his account, as the IP address just doesnt match with any regular IPs. We've also talked to both parties in PM and have suggested they both show up with police presence in order to sort this out. They both agreed. So it seems that there is a chance that his account was used by someone else to do this. I guess we'll see if he goes to meet up with him and the cops. Otherwise, tigerpg has also been advised to talk to the cops and to get the phone records from his cellphone company, and to do a trace on the numbers that called his phone.

Wow, that's some serious stuff, hope TeamAcura's o.k. Pretty petty someone would go through that for a 1000 bucks. Hope it gets all sorted out and the guilty party gets the s*it knocked out of them hard! [img]graemlins/gunsarecool.gif[/img]
All the more reason to pursue my new career path. We had a high risk takedown in the parking lot of our store yesterday. Here is some good advice, don't eat yellow snow and don't drive around with a trunk full of Cocaine.

Yeah not ****, wouldn't even thought of it myself something like that happening... unfort thing like this happen to keep everyone else from being a 1st... I would **** my pants if it was me lol...I would be the typicl dumb guy trying to fight people off and get my *** outta there...

Well thats what this world is boiling down to these days... I hate to say it but it will probably get worse as the years pass. Good thing his gf stayed in his car (so it sounds), they more then likely would have tried somethin then to.. Hope he got out untouched, yet left some marks or 2 on the guys he hit... Hope this gets settled!!
