i don't get those prompts on my tools button. directechs doesn't work with it on and it's driving me nuts.

^yup. some donkey using my computer while i put a system in his truck decided when the service pack update poppped up he would install it without asking.

The service pack is good to have. And the pop up blocker is real nice on a lot of sites. I go to several sites where they try to throw ads at you. I like having it built into ie rather than have to have a seperate po pup blocker running. You can also just hold the control key when you click something and that will allow the pop up to come through if you want to see something and still keep the blocker on.

under popup blocker you can set sites that are allowed
directech works for me on 2 xp computers
