Shut off day lights

I have a newer car where the headlamps are always on nomatter what, so it kinda looks stupid with my headlamp covers on. I was wondering if its possible to install a toggle switch or something that will kill all my lights, anyone done this or know of something like this, and an estimated cost would be nice. Or is it simple enough to do it myself? (01 grand prix SE)

why do you need to do this

if it is to save power ok i see that (for shows )

can you paypass the fuse/remove the fuse to the lights ?

and I think I seen the fuse's in the engine bay fuse box, but i mean i'm looking for ease, i don't want to have to open my hood all the time, go in the fuse box remove/replace 2 or 3 fuses (headlamp, taillamp, fogs) to just shut off my headlamps for day driving with my black headlamp covers on.

you said it

but if you have you headlights on high it can f-up the r-guns to see how fast you are going

why not run a wire to the lights with a swich to cut power to the lights

so cut the wire to the lights,at the light ,run a wire to the light to inside the car with a swich ?

uhh........?

also if i cut the wire at the headlights, and did the switch myself how would i control the daylights, lowbeams, highbeam, fogs and all off? It seems to me it'd be a little more complex then just snipping a wire and relocatiing it to a toggle switch, but thats just me.

errr i suppose my fogs are on a different switch, but gotta be tied intot he line somewhere as to when my highbeams are on my fogs will automatically shutoff.
