sick...i think something in my keyboard tried to bite me

Hmmm well that might be exageration, but i was having a quiet evening to myself playing
The Spank Game - ebaumsworld.com
where my best score was 209

During that process it hought having to push my keyboard down is killing my time, so i popped it off...and SICK. There's so much possibly growing under there. Apparenlty intermittent use of compressed air (didn't start early enough) isn't enough to keep it clean. So...i'm debating dropping it in rubbing alcohol, but i can't really be without it for a few days while it dries. Need it on a daily basis, so i'm sorta thinkin about going n buyin a new keyboard.

The current set has lasted me a number of years and going strong, it's a cordless mx (500 maybe, or just cordless mx) duo.

I want to stay wireless but i'm not sure any other keyboards will connect to my receiver???

Hmmm if i gotta get a combo, or might as well, i kinda want that logitech mx revolution, but i don't see htat in a combo . HMMMM whatever will i do...why's this stuff so expensive???

Anyone have any suggestions for mice/keyboards, or is it possible to get that mxrevolution in a combo? Keyboard must be wireless, enjoy a few multimedia buttons and like to be able to customize some keys generally to bring up specific folders for myself.

Hmm looking further, i'm liking the Logitech® diNovo™ keyboard, but i kinda like the sidepad that comes with it. Can you get that and the keyboard alone? I don't really want the mouse as i'd prefer to have the mx revolution when i can afford it. Likewise does anyone have one of these, i've read mixed reviews online. I'm thinkin this might be a futureshop purchase with their warranty where they'll exchange over the counter if need be or something.

Unscrew backing.. disassemble... use cotton swabs or pads with alcohol to rub off anything you want to get rid of... put back together... use.

Alcohol evaporates very quickly... so there's no reason to wait a few days.

Just make sure you pay attention when you open it so you can put it back together when you're done!

one thing I might add, if you end up popping all the kys off the clean in there, a digital camera comes in very handy... trying to remember where all the lesser used keys go, if you don't have another KB for reference could take some time...
