[img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] Maybe it'll do somethin, they even started with the tv commercials. Has anyone noticed that some of the sports bars including boston pizza has sorta died down in the evening with the no NHL Hockey? At least in Ontario anyway.

Yeah although some junior teams are gettin air time on rogers networks at least i've noticed for the OHL games. The sales might've gone up for those games in live games. Meaning more ppl have probably starting attending their local games and supporting the local boys.

This won't do squat, you think Bettman is gonna see like 800,000 petitions and say, YOU know what forget it lets just play he won't budged he feels cause they got screwd before and the players wouldnt budge on that last contract agreement, it's his turn to say screw them that's all he's going after.
there was stuff to watch on tv before as well. Do you watch the sport channels for things other than hockey that much???
It's not like TBS where they have braves baseball on when you're hoping for a good flick.

I would rather see a petition go out to encourage the NHLPA to go back to their roots and have hockey players that want to play the game because they love it. Not cus they will be able to buy a house in the Hamptons and 3 Ferrari's to park in the driveway. I am sick of how much these people get paid to play the game we love.
Instead of bitching that the NHL isn't on TV, go support your local hockey team. Be it OHL, WHL, CHL, junior B, your local midget team...support the teams who play because the love of the sport and not the $$$.
