So I was passing a slow moving vehicle around a bend, then a cop jumps out from behind a pole and tells me to pull over. He shows me the radar and it says 76km/hr.....turns out it was a posted 50. He asked me if i knew it was 50, i tell him no. I really had no idea.

There was no speed limit signes between the spot where i started to pass the slower vehicle and where the speed trap was. However, a little before there was a posted 50........didnt notice that. It was in an industrial area with many drive ways connected to the main street.

Does anyone think i have a chance getting off if I say I entered the main street from one of the drive ways and there was no speed limit signs posted between my point of entry onto the main road and the speed trap?

But ALWAYS go to court for ANY traffic ticket,, if the cop doesn't show,, you're off the hook!

Chances of a cop in T.O. goin,, you might get off.

 

nevermind the cop, for my last ticket the judges did not show.

If you are as sexy as you apparently are, I imagine no court could resist your spl charms....... tell the judge you were just on your way to hit 150+db for some kids who need guidence........ and I'm sure you'll get off........



any thoughts on the new 'street racing' laws........... Ive been thinking about going to Quebec on weekends so I can push my car to the limits on the street without being worried about 7day impounds or $10,000 fines......

 

i think street racing is cool and i encourage it in every way possible. i think everyone has the right to feel fast and furiouse (sp).

It depends. I believe in Saskatchewan, in a city the speed limit is 50 (?) unless otherwise posted.

 

go talk to the prosecutor outside of court... chances are since you're a model (citizen) they'll drop it to a lesser charge like 15 over which is no points...
