Well I'm right now have posted this on 323 performance and I got nothing that has worked so far. Here is my problem my car smokes oil when it's warming up. When the car is warm there is no smoke. So far I have a new PVC valve and I have tried the lucaus oil stabilizer and now some no name Canadian tire stuff (I think it's called stop smoke) so I think it's the piston rings and I want idea on how to fix this without getting a new engine, or rebuilding this one.

Here is a way to check what is up.

You will need a compression tester and a small squirt oil can.

Pull all your plugs out and starting with number 1 cylinder take a compression reading, Do this with all cylinders.

Now go back to the first cylinder and squirt about a teaspoon of motor oil in there and take another test.

Repeat for all cylinders.

Did the compression go up?

If so, then you have bad rings and need a ring job.

If it didnt go up much, then your valve guides are going.

Good luck.
