I take car of my vehicle's for the most part except for a few reckless things that everybody does once in a while.
I take care of my engines, and keep the car clean and in god working order. Hell, when the motor fell on the ground when I was driving the buick, it was still running and still would to this day, except for the fact that I took my new spark-plugs out of it and it needs an oil change.
So if I roll the odometer back so if I wanna re-sell the car/truck/van I'll get a bit more money out of them, it's not really being dis-honest, it's just not telling the whole truth. But I'm not selling a bad car, because I know I've taken good care of it.

umm, rolling back the odometer is dishonest anytime it's done, for any reason, with any excuse. if you think that taking care of your car justifies an illegal act, then you sir, should have your license revoked, and have LOSER tattooed across your forehead, and your head shaved weekly, for all to see.

as far as Brandon's comment goes, yah i would be pissed if i found out i bought the car with rolled back millage and that doing it is not a very good spirited thing. That had happened once to my gf but when we went to the local dealer and got service records I looked at them and........i ended up being charged with assault and causing bodily harm (which were later dropped).
BUT all u guys have done something or other where u lied/didnt tell the whole truth for your own benefit. And if u going to say that u havent i'd have to say that you are being just as dishonest as Brandon.

I dont mean to be taking sides here b/c i hate u all the same but at the same time i have to say that Brandon is doin a good job at amussing himself by making the comment he makes. I like 99% sure that he's doin it just to **** ppl off and is probably laughing at the replies he's getting..........i know i am.
