Does anyone remember a TV episode of Hot Rod where they took a few corvettes from various years and ran em down the 1/4?
Then the Hot Rod TV guys challenged the winner to a race. His vette versus thier (che)vette? The little chevette left the corvette way behind. Something like a Cadillac engine in it , beefed up rear diff, you sat in the backseat once you managed to crawl through all the roll cage tubing.
Sure the hell shut down the mouth on the corvette owner.
Now that was priceless.
