can u get temporary auto insurance in ontario if u dont have any insurance at all?

 

AFAIK you can't get plates without insurance.

If you're just doing it to drive a new car a short distance you can get temporary plates for a week or something like that.

I believe that if you get temporary plates you also get insurance with them.

No... you read it wrong.

I didn't mean get plates temporarily, I mean get Temp. plates.

They're a paper thing that you stick in the front windshield. I did some checking and it's valid for 10 days.

you should be able to. Call the insurance company and find out. I got insurance for 7 days before.

Jordy u need insurance to get those paper plates as well.

 

Ahh... gotcha. I'd just call your regular Ins. company that you use for the Jeep and ask them.

you get the temp plates right from the ministry of transportation, 75$ covers you for 10 days whether or not insurance is included in that 75$ i have no clue
