Trade ANY 4 games at blockbuster for a new one!! Wicked deal if you got old games
#1
Blockbuster is apparently trying to bust EB's stranglehold on the trade-in market for video games, and since Rogers just partnered with EB Games, I can bet they want to put them under pretty badly. I doubt they will put them under, but this deal is pretty sweet for you gamers.
They have a 'trade 4 get 1' deal on now.
Basically you can trade in ANY 4 old PS2,GC, or XBOX games in, and you can get any brand new game they have in stock, 59.99 or under.
All you need is a membership, and the games have to be in good shape.
The guy at my local store actually said I could buy any 4 of the used games they had on the shelf, or any four of the crappiest games I could find, and trade them in straight up for a new one, provided the traded in ones were in working order with manuals.
The only catch is they cant be multiple copies of the same game.
I traded two 2001 EA sports games, Everquest Online, and an old *** RPG for the new Prince of Persia Warrior Within game no trouble at all.
EB GAMES generally wont even give you trade in credit on backyear sports games, and generally only give you like 5 or 10 bucks a game, period.
BB guy also told me that they give a MINIMUM of
8 bucks for ANY game trades, no questions asked.
