My only concern would be surface reflections of the front baffle..

Yeah, the surface turned out a bit bigger than what i had imagined in my head, hopefully doesnt cause too many problems. Havent %100 for sure picked drivers yet, Mid above the tweet to try the hyped "d'apolito" config, and also to possibly help phase, by sinking the tweeter in a bit...Tweeter is about 36" from the floor.
Tyler, they look nice -- I don't think Dukk was being mean -- Old KEF speakers used to have 6x9" passive radiators for extra bass... Have you considered a design with a bass driver built into the lower cavity? The only negitive about D'appollo is you might lose some image "height"; however, it does integrate the woofer and tweeter. I can't wait to see the veneer... cool project!
