Their album,"Contraband" is awesome!!Its got some tracks that sound like GNR and some the sound STPish/Nirvana-ish...and some that sound totally unique...Been listening to it in the car for like 3 days straight... [img]graemlins/bow.gif[/img]

Scott Weiland sounds and looks in the best shape he's been in in soooo long...I guess given up the drugs makes a difference...

In my own mind,I offer the track "Fall to Peices" as a farewell to my buddy Ryan..RIP,Man!!

Awesome Performance!!

Only 2 small complaints about it,but nothing that would stop me from seeing them live....

a:Scott Weiland was dressed up like a french tourist...Looked like a total wuss next to Slash dressed in full leather....

b:The ending they did of "Fall to Pieces" wasnt as sweet and smooth as on the album....but what do you want for a late night show performnce...

They got to play the show out..played first track off the album(title slips my mind)...

Would definatly go see em live..

 

I have their CD, I ain't all that impressed.

Are they doing the big arena type shows or doing the bar tour thing?

I know I saw Andew WK in a bar and it kicked the crap outta any big stage show I'd ever seen,,,,

Hope they make Calgary one point and tix arent too much...

 

I watched them play Conan last night, sounded good. I heard the album, my buddy picked it up, not a whole lot on there that grabbed my ear, apart from the singles. Maybe album #2 will appeal more to me, as long as Scott Weiland can keep it clean........

/\ ya theres a few high points but overall I give it only a 5. Hopefully numba 2 will be better, I think they kinda rushed this compelation, and it shows.

 

Good group, GN'R's roots stay with the band, heh.

I just wish Weiland would kick his drug habit once and for all.

 

Overall I say great first release...a mix of several different sounds.....almost Zepplin-ish to me....
