While eastern Canada has the population, western Canada has the life. If you really want to see Canada, stop at Calgary, go up one of the tallest building you can find and look east, you will see the rest of Canada until at least Ontario. (it is flat and boring between there). Ontario has some cool things to see like Niagara Falls and Toronto (if you like the call of the big city), but it pails in comparison to BC (Bring Cash). Glaciers, mountain passes, killer whales, grizzly bears, hot springs, skiing, fishing for huge salmon Vancouver, Whistler, Kelowna, Prince George (actually scratch that one as Joe is up there and it reeks like a pulp mill). Calgary and Edmonton (Alberta) is a full days drive from Vancouver with two people driving. Edmonton has one of the worlds largest shopping malls (tourist traps). Way more to see in the west and the mountains make a natural barrier to keep out the eastern guys and the yanks for the most part.

i have always found it funny of westerners to knock ontario and claim that it has no "life" in it, or no nature or whatever. Just because Toronto is here doesnt mean the whole province is paved in asphalt and covered with highways, you guys are so funny. 2 hours north of Toronto and you will see the same "natury" crap that you would see anywhere in Alberta, Saskatchewan and all those other boring *** provinces.

if he wants to see the natury crap he doesnt need to come to Canada, really. If he wants to climb mountains he can do that without spending $2000 on a plane ticket. He's from Australia, i dont think he would care much for fishing, would be nothing new to him.

you should figure out what it is you want to see, what you are into and then you can pick a spot to go.

if u like climbing up some rocks and wanna take a 1 in a bilion chance of seeing a whale (which you have probably already seen in Australia anyways) then BC is the place for you.

if you want to see nothing but flat surface with little life on it you can go to any of the following, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba. You would not be able to tell them apart anyways.

if you want to see the most multicultural city in the world with all sorts of happening all the time then you should go to Toronto. Sure there are no Grizzlie Bears or Glaciers here, but we have many, many, many, many strip clubs. Im sure u can find a girl or two that look like Grizzlie Bears there, if you are into that sorta thing that is.

I meant to come back and edit my post to say that Eastern Canada does have Yuli, but he speaks for himself.

In all honesty If you really want to experience Canada at it's finest...without going across country...land in ontario..experience crazy *** T.O.(anybody that comes up to u respond "No, I DON'T need need any crack, weed, or ice" Then after that night get ur azz down 2 Ottawa...have a chill but fun night there.....then Montreal....I don't usually talk aboot Montreal....we'll leave it at that.

IF you have the money...obviously start in B.C(ask for the blue domina)....fu(k the places in between.
