It very much depends on the exact model. He purchased one for 2500 GBP, and the other for just under 3000 GBP. He said demand is so high for those models right now, that the used market is well above MSRP. Kind of reminds me of the M3 market in early 2001...

I have an Esquire and it has been very disapointing - The internals were replaced within the first year, and it the arms get 'confused' randomly, there is even a documented procedure to re-aling them in the owners manual. Not very happy..
I had a Seiko before this one, and it lasted ten years without a hiccup. The body was just so badly beaten it was looking ratty.
I think my next watch will be a Tag Heuer.

Fossil or Swatch, although the Swatch broke not too long after it was bought for me. Straight from Switzerland it was, hell of a long way to send it to get it warrantied.
