Weird IE 7 issue

sometimes my IE just stops loading pages. even if you open a new tab it just wont load anything. it says connecting but nothing loads.

BUT if i open a new browser window (not a new tab) it works fine.......while the other broswer window still wont load anything.

the internet connection is not the problem b/c newly opened IE window loads everyting fine, while the other one wont load anything.

Google chrome.

Fastest browser start-up, cold or warm.

no status bar.
no favorites bar.
no menu bar.

just a nice WWW bar and default buttons like back, next, refesh, add bookmark,go, tools, page along with tabs on the upper part.

The windows also has no borders

What im getting to is that withh google chrome, You feel like your working with a magicly increased 1inch screen. feels very open and spacious.

KK? nuff said.

Try to remove any add-on toolbars and make sure that you dont have any spyware/malware/bad-BHO. You can use Spybot S&D to locate and remove most of the unwanted junk, but dont forget to update it first.

Sometime some malware will modify your system so that when you try to access the Spybot website you will be redirected to a bogus site. If that happen i suggest you ask a computer geek friend to help you out.

When you are sure that you PC is clean then try IE8,FF,Chrome,Opera,Safari,lynx...

Firefox x3

This would be a good Donut Shop poll .... I never use IE unless a program absolutely must use it to connect. ie: to get into Microsoft site, help options, etc.

Firefox is way better. Or updating to IE 8 might help.

Firefox alone is no better than IE, what make FF so great it's all the addons, but if you don't use them there's not much difference. Also I found that lots of site are still not FF friendly.

I use FF and love the addons (noscript,no squint, download statusbar, pdf download, ABP...) but since IE7 I think the whole FF is better is exagerated for the average internet user.
