it is a subwoofer, however it looks like one of them ones from the 80's that was a home audio woofer!! 8ohm!! I had a set in my house, sounded alright...

it's a woofer, not a subwoofer. I have a pair of those with some horns at my cabin up north. Freq response of 45-2200hz. has a 1.5" voice coil with short windings to keep unductance low for extended freq response. Suitable as a car sub?... not really. It will move air and thus produce sound...but totally wrong type of application

k..thank you just sar it on a local used site for cheap and wanted to know what it was....some people in this town don't know what they have and get rid of it cheap..that's where I like to swoop in....just scored 2 10's in a box for insanely cheap.
