What Lives A Mile From My House? (PICS!)
This is in a fallen down barn ruin maybe a mile from my house, property is not lived on. It is a 1949 Ford 4 door. Grey car is a 77 Mitsubishi Champ/Dodge Colt.
The 49 ford has a v8 on it, im assuming seized, but look at how beautiful it is!

Oh god!

Your from Listowel huh? That's cool. I'm on my way to Campbell's food to their outlet store. That food is keeping me alive through college!!!
Thanks for the ideas Maltese, actually my parents know who owns the property (i guess its not abandoned, just not lived on).
The owners are in Florida till April too. AUGH
Do you have any idea of how I would run a platecheck online?

Yup, I'm in Listowel for a year.
Cambells is about 1KM from my place.
If you're from Peterborough, how can you make a quick easy trip to Cambells? Or are you going to college somewhere in the area?
As for the plate check, I don't know of a way to do it on line. However, Last year when I renewed my plates, I did it at one of those automated machines in a mall. I am fairly certain all that I did was I punched in my plate number and then it brought up all of my information for me (car model, address etc)
I thought that was a bit weird that a person could so easily access that information. You could always give that a try.
And for running VINs, I've seen that posted around here a few times. You could do a search of VIN related posts to see who it was that responded to those threads. Or you could post "please run a VIN for me" and I am sure that someone with the capabilities will help you.

dude take the old mitsu... i mena the ford is cool and all but its a 4 door.
check the floors of them as they are prolly rotten, ford shouldnt be to horriable to fix if the floors gone but the mitsu (maybe unibody , most likely) will not be worth it
i really wouldnt pay more than a few hundrend for either one... but thats just me...
now you seem to come across lots of old cars look for a 49 merc.
