What type of computer speakers you run?

DWVW is right...unless you live in a small apartment and dont want to disturb your neighbors, computer speakers basically dont cut it, and if you want good sounding tunes off of your computer, save up for a few more weeks, and go buy a cheap reciever and some speakers

I've heard them. A friend said he was going to change my mind about computer speakers Sorry, it just made me change my mind about what my friend's hearing.
As I have said, any speaker that is less than 5 1/4 and touts anything smaller than a 10" speaker as a sub (8's only count in the car because of cabin gain) is pathetic and will never change my mind (well I'm not that close minded, I am sure in 50 years something will come along) about what good sound is. Next thing you guys are going to tell me that the Bose 3-2-1 system sounds wicked and has cool surround sound!

I would take this setup over any computer stuff any day.

This amp actually has Harmon Kardon internals.
These would work fine as speakers

Of course I would probably go with an Arcam, Creek or something along those lines for the receiver.
And I would personally want some Acoustic Energy AE1's for my speakers, as they are my favorite bookshelfs of all time.
