/\ Here we have the next generation of voters and the reason why democracy is stupid. The average ill-informed boon making stupid decisions based on "I like the shirt he was wearing"

Just to Echo a few points:
Canadians are just as stupid - we voted the lying, stealing Liberals in again.

Bush is better for Exports.

Kerry has more waffles than a house of pancakes. He said he supported Bush's decision to go into Iraq.
Latter he said that he would not go into Iraq.

Where ever popular opinion is Kerry is there too. He was trying to win on as the country's "yes man"

FurleyII - Agreed! Our country is morally bankrupt (But USA isn't far behind).

I find it interesting that Bush took on Iraq and the evil that is going on there.

If you want to talk about the need for international policing, why isn't anything being done in Bosnia and many other suffering countries?
Nothing is being done there because US invasion wouldn't help the US at all. When is comes the international idea of "to serve and protect" the phrase "our best interests" needs to be added. All of North America is simply looking out for their own interests.

Bush knew that there was nothing in Iraq, they knew 100% that he had no weapons. Saddam had NOTHING to do with Bin Laden yet they got ROCKED by the US Army. Sure Saddam was a bad guy but dont go leveling the whole country trying to get the guy and pretend to look for some weapons of mass destruction. This is NO different from WW2 when even after Hitler killed himself Stalin still went on to destroy the entire Germany just b/c they had tons of ammo left over.

Hey Bush knows N.Korea has weapons yet he wont attack them, and u know why b/c Korea said 'Yah we got the shiit and we aint scared to use it' so obvioiusly Bush wont do anything. With Saddam they knew he had Nothing so they invaded him like a helpless school girl.

So let see, No weapons of mass destruction, millions of iraqi's dead, over 1000 US Soldiers are dead, American economy is in deficit, Iraq is destroyed and being robbed of oil BUT in the mean time Osama is still free and no one has any clue as to where he is, he spends his free time making short feature films that look like he's running a presidential campaign to be the next US president. I'd say the whole war on terror thing had gone SLIGHTLY off track with Bush, we are not even trying to catch any terrorists any more, we are more preoccupied with stealing oil from iraq and keep opressin it's people who are now ALL labeled as terrirsts b/c they just wont bend over and take in the rear from Bush.

so when u think about it there really is no winner in this war in iraq, there are only victimes who happen to be US troops, their families and a whooooooooole bunch of dead iraqis.

oh and btw, Saddam wasnt the only one to kill Kurds for whatever reason. He was the only one to admit it. and if u dont know the reason for fighting between the iraqi national guard and Kurdish guarilla fighters was a civil war initiated by Kurds. Alghought i strongly dissagree with some of the techniques saddam used on kurds but as u say a war is a war. What was happening between Saddam and Kurds is not ANY different from what is goin on in Chechnia right now, except russian military doesnt use toxic weapons.

yep, pretty much.

the reason desert storm only stayed in the desert was, as the first Bush put it himself, "We had no viable exit strategy", thus they didnt enter and destroy any major cities. I call this good planing when you have no plan. lol

But this Bush was gonna outsmart his dad and just go in and start killing shiit. Apperantly he had no viable exit stragety either.

I wish Clinton was still the president.
