What's the longest you've gone without sound in your car? I yanked my system out in either Aug or Sept.2002 so I'm at about the 14-15 month soundless mark.

That 15 hour road trip without sound was a real beotch!

4 days, after someone jacked all my gear. i bought a used h/u and crappy 6.5's to add tuneage and keep me sane.after that i picked up a security system and installed it in the most ignorant location, aint anybody grabbin' my stuff again. at least without a huge struggle and loss of blood/limbs/life

 

I've never been without sound really. Just without subs. But to me not having subs installed is like not having sound. I can't live without my subs! I've only gone about a winter with no subs and that was far too long!

 

4 weeks while that pos clarion dxz725 was in ontario for repair, and than another couple times after that no tunes sucks

 

I've gone about 2 months without turning my tunes on in my daily driver. In the Mini about 2 days but all good / sweet sound dosn't allways come from the audio system I sometimes enjoy the burbale from the t-pipe. [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

 

I've been lucky, but one of my buddies had his H/U die 2 years ago in october. He had no music for an entire season of driving to and from hockey games/practice. That's just not right!

 

3 months is the most I have had in my good old mazda. The stock deck died and it took me 3 months to get the money to get a good deck (the one I have sitting around) because I spent $85 on a dud deck.

 

went one road trip without sound, 2 hour drive. Went friggin insane. Even without subs I can't stand it, I get frustraded and in a pissy mood. Went 3 weeks without subs and that was all I can take.

 

I've been without sound now for about 2 months. My system setup has taken longer than expected, but meh, I'll get things going. Currently I have my deck installed connected to.....nothing.
