In general there is one machine that carbontes the water and sends it to the various pop towers within the restaurant. Then the carbonated water and pop syrup gets mixed right at the spout where it pours into the cup.

Unless its a HUGE McD's where they would have multiple units like that, the the levels of carbonation should be the exact same at each pop tower. Most McD's have one bulk CO2 tank that runs all this equipment.

Of course if they have run thicker twisted pair 0 guage water lines with triple shielding to cut down on EM interference with the water, that would of course increase the carbonated waters performance and result in tastier pop.

All drive thru pop stations serve better and colder pop than the up front station. (I work at BK) Its a better machine running it and also is the refrigerated unit. Up front you rely on Ice to really make ur drink cold. (At least that's how it works in BK, whenever i order on breaks or any other time when I'm in the store and not drive thru I alwayz say from the drive thru pop machine when they ask what i want to drink)

No such thing as coke is coke lol therez different tastes, flavours etc etc Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Pepsi Blue etc etc and different brands like Our compliments, Presidents Choice, Coca Cola, Pepsi etc etc lol I wonder does the brand No Name have a coke product?

Foutain Coke always tastes better then the bottle. Boston Pizza always has wicked coke. Mcdonalds, i've never noticed a difference.

 

I used to like RC Cola the best -- I actually like McDonald's Orange Drink the best.

 

My Coke tastes best with rye.... preferbly Crown Royal

Coke - hmmmm, well the safeway select has a odd but yet yummy taste as does rc, also (surprised nobody mentioned) Jolt cola... all though it taste like flat Coke Cola with carbonation, still taste great... Mcdicks taste really good too!!! So those are mine.

I like President's Choice/No Name Coke as well. Can't beat it for .57 cents for a 2 litre bottle. [img]smile.gif[/img]
