I know working for an ISP, it seems to have created many problems for the every day retards - usually the pop-up blocker blocking the window they're looking for. But as well doing some other strange stuff.

Finally i thought well hell lets download it see what it's all about - it did some strange **** that slowed my whole computer down a lot. Lotta time when loading various vids in wmp or the other program i use they'd lock up or whatever. Finally i uninstalled it and it's like a dream now - how quickly everything runs.

Am i just lucky enough to have something conflicting with it? or were any of you lucky too?

 

No issues here, however I use Netscape cause I can't stand that stupid pop blocker for Internet Explorer...Pc runs fine part I found odd is before I put it on my monitor wouldn't show mute/ volume then soon as I did put on Sp2 it came back.. where before it would just randomly show up when I went to reinstall... Bootup times is about the same takes about 25 seconds...

Mine works ok. I just hate all the stupid things you have to click to run a program.
I have the firewall on but I also have sygate too!

 

I found bit torrent to be slow period but it seems on par to what it was before Sp2

 

My Internet seems to have slowed down too.. I wonder if it's SP2 or my provider. I just did a fresh install on my new computer, dloaded SP2 right away and it seemed to integrate fine. Gotta get my speeds up though.. webpages take forever or timeout.

 

I installed it. My Router has a firewall in it so i disabled the one in windows.

No Issues so far...

 

i've had it since it came out works great for me and i find the popup starter works really good to

 

Works fine for me and I'm using the firewall ...

Haven't noticed any decrease in performance ...
