for a mustang lover, you should be the one telling us! no huge differences...what year did they drop the 302? i cant remember if that was pre 97 or not, cause i seem to remember seeing the 302 in the new (apres 93) body style, but i could be wrong...so other then cosmetics, they still come with the same 4.6 (wanna-be 302) motor, and im pretty sure the same tranny.

Yeah but what about body styling changes as well. There were a few differences weren't there?

 

What areas are you curious about the changes? ie. motor, suspension, body, other?
There are numerous changes in most areas so if you could be more specific.

 

94 was the last of the 5L ...

4.6 is totally different motor (over head cam) and the thing is huge !!

 

mostly just the changes in the body and interior, but if u can tell me about other differences it would be appriciated. i was wanting to buy a mustang, and i thought it may be better to get an older model because it would be cheaper...

 

they are basically the same since 79 to 93 (fox body ...then became the sn94

they still share alot though - brakes suspention rear end ...

fox had a inline 4 and 6 v6 and then the 302

sn94 had the v6 and 4.6 (5l for 94 only)
