On a side note, i'll be at the Winnipeg Future Shop House of Boom comp. Saturday, Aug 30/03

What do you think:

1, 15" R-Type sub and the MRV-1507 V12 Alpine amp will hit?

The sub is in the trunk, and is in a 1.5 cu. ft. sealed box. 135-140 maybe?

Yeah, port that be-otch!
The right box + the right port = 143-146 DB with that amp. Maybe more with more power.

I cant believe it!!!! My MRV 1507 blew for a ..... 3rd time!! It blew 10 minutes before the Future Shop competition. I had to race over to A&B Sound and buy a replacement amp. What did I buy?

MTX 8100D (1500 watts rms @ 2 ohm)

Its a crazy amp. 1/0 Ga. for the power and ground.

I only hit 135.9 DB's with my 15" R-Type It wasnt in a proper box, so that made a huge difference right there. My amp will/better be replaced or exchanged for a different amp under warrenty.
