Heya folks... gotta report this... today I got hit by a forklift at work.

I walked out the door of the maintenance shop at the factory my boss and I have been doing work at, leaned out to look for any forklift traffic, and found some. soon as I leaned out, a tow motor was flying by and I barely got my arms up to defend myself before I got whacked.

anyways... that's my report, I'm ok, except for a sore arm.

 

wow you're lucky getting away with just a sore arm... those things can do real damage. I would know cause I drive them.

I used to work in a warehouse type place like that, and found myself in the same situation many, many times... after bitching to my foreman, they finally installed some of those parabolic mirrors, you know the ones shaped like a quater of a sphere... really helped a lot, cause you could see out either side of the bay doors without even being close to them...

Reminds me of that German forklift safety video. Looks like you will have to play this for your co-workers. Doesn't matter if you speak german or not, its still hella funny. Take a bit to watch, but its worth it.
