I have already starting getting my stuff for it. I have a wireless controller. The battery charger cable, another battery for the orginal one that comes with the XBOX(it only has 2 x AA and I want the good battery that you can charge while playing a game) and I also have Project Gothem Racing 3. I will get a couple other ones the day of.

 

I was planning to buy one, but I decided to wait. I fought for a PS2 on launch and I am too lazy to do it again. I'll be picking one up after Christmas.

The graphics are out of this world.. I saw a TV comercial of Madden '06.. it took me a good 10 seconds to clue in that it was a video game.. the graphics are THAT GOOD.. if it wasn't for the "EA" symbol in the corner of the screen: I honestly would have thought it was a commercial for the CFL or something.

 

it's big hype, some reviews have been horrible, I won't be gettin one in the near future, on the other hand I will fight for DUAL HDMI OUTPUTS!!!! on the PS3...... wow! I cannot wait..... *Drools* (Please note I am an avid Halo 2 Xbox Live Player, But the reviews, the don't always lie....)

 

I'll pick up all the new systems I am just waiting on the 360. There have already been reports out of the gates that they're having issues with them. Harddrives messing up the system and such. I waited in line forever for the PS2 and a month later was getting the dreaded disc read error. I don't want that happening again so I will wait. Just too bad that rumor has it the PS2 won't be seeing an American release until Spring of '07 GHEY!

 

it may have some problems when it first comes out that is why I getting the 3 yr warrenty for it. Anything wrong with it I get a new one. The reason for the playstation being into 2007 possibly is b/c they cant get there technology down in price. They have said if it was to come out today it would be over a $1000 for it. That is a little hard to swallow. The casual gamer wouldnt buy it for that price.

But tonight I won't be on I will be standing in line for one. But me and my bro really want one so I will let ya know if I got it working and playing in the morning

 

Yeah, if you get a warranty on it then who cares? I'd go for it. I've read that the PS3 is supposed to launch in Japan in Spring, but not here till 07. Simply because Japan always gets that crap way before us.
