This is a box build for one 12" alpine type R, it is a 1.7 cubic foot box before displacement, tuned to 33htz, and it is built for a 1999 pontiac sunfire 4 door, the owner has two 12's with only a 500 watt amp and I suggested to go with one 12 and a better box as he had two 12's in a small sealed box, now this will be much cleaner and louder for the application he has requested, here are some pics of the build so far

that was last night, all the white stuff is a really great bonding glue and sealer it dries clear but in the pics its still wet


this is what I got done tonight








I still have two 1" dowel braces to install cut the hole for the sub and seal the top on the box and then call teh owner for pick up, the finished result will be bare mdf as he is not sure if he wants to finish it in a gloss indigo blue to match his paint on the car or just carpet it, but once the warm weather gets here he will get back to me and I will finish whatever he chooses

I will post the finished product when we install it in the car
