I have a friend that has a '90 Jetta GLX(same as GLI) and he wants to add power door locks, but was told by several local dealers that it "can't" be done.
To my understanding, it's a central lock system at the driver's door.
Has anyone had the pleasure of installing a door lock actuator on one of these cars? Is there a problem with the way the inside of the door that prevents mounting a solenoid?
