i currently have 2 10inch Alpine SWS-1023D in a ported box (orig box). just to let everyone know i dont know much about car audio even though i love bass with a passion. now the box that the subs r currently in are ported on the top of the box and the box is really light and slim. obviously the air shoots up so i want to make a custom box with ports in the front. the only info that i found on this is .

Vented Box Volume: The vented box sizes recommended by Alpine range from 1.0 cu/ft to 1.75 cu/ft. The ideal recommended volume is 1.2 cu/ft with a 1" x 10" x 14" (long) slot port.


so i was wondering if anyone could help me on this maybe give some accurate measurements for the box if its possible..if not any info would help thanks

i would also like a medium size box not a huge box nor a small one something with excellent bass
