looking for a HU that plays dvds with a flip screen...please let me know if you have anything available...

 

Used, new, navigation, no navigation, surround module, no surround module, warranty or no warranty, price range?

 

Used, no navi, umm probably no warrenty if its used, and what the surrond module? is it the ability to play two different thing...like on movie on a flipout and another on screen in the headrests? im looking for something under 800$

 

I have a used Eclipse here, the balance of the Eclipse warranty left on it (receipt can be provided), with the surround sound and high volt preout module. The customer wants $1000 firm on it. As it is a customers item (that we sold to him new for almost $3000), there is no taxes on it. It is a 7" lcd unit that looks and performs flawlessly.

 

what is the model number?

 

The model # is AV8533. The only reason the customer is selling this unit it simple, he works for a net support company as one of the head honcho's and needed a computer in his car, thus he now has a carputer.

 

very nice HU, is he willing to go down a little? 900$?
my buddy is interested...is install included?

 

and also ho does the warrenty work? ive heard that if it gets stolen or breaks the retailer replaces it?

 

He is firm on his price, he wanted $1200 as it still has manufacturers warranty but I told him he would be better selling it for $1000.00. Install is not included, I don't think you work for free, why should I? Nice try though.

The standard Eclipse warranty on a dealer installed item is 3 years parts/labour on headunits + replacement in the first year only if stolen. This unit is now past the first year thus there is no replacement guarantee for theft anymore. I am trying to find his invoice to see how much warranty is left. If I am correct, there is almost 16 months on it still. This is a kick butt unit, scoop it before my customers get back from the oilfields next week.
