Here we go.
With all the drama unfolding and people not knowing what is going to happen, we were supposed to have a finals but that went out the window following the recent chain of events along with some shows being cancelled and the mass confusion.......
...... some good people are ready to step up to the plate and bring you guys the biggest Db Drag event of the season....Db Drag Ontario Regionals
Your support is a must in order for this to happen. Give your support and you shall receive. What I am talking about is a great event that will take place in our backyard, after the regionals in Buffalo, thus giving everyone here the option to compete at both events, Buffalo and Toronto, or just Toronto for those who are not going to Buffalo.
And because this event would be after all the other Regional events in Canada and US (north east US anyways) we will sorta have the last chance at producing good numbers and having the last laugh.
There is a big sponsor ready to step in to help make this happen, and I don't mean your local used car dealership either. Some expenses are, however, will still need to be paid out of pocket by a few good people. No one is looking to profit on this event, only to break even and bring you guys what you all deserve and asked for.
Cost would be around $50 to enter either Db Drag or Bass Race, or $75 to enter both.
We need a solid 45 car turn out for this to hapen.
There will be Db Drag and Bass Race.
September 26th is the date - plenty of time to get ready, book a day off work or talk the wife into letting you go/coming with you.
I'm talking about a big show, good venue, solid prizes and big trophies.
I had been asked to make this poll, and people who are ready to step up to make this happen will place heavy consideration on how well this poll turns out - as in how many people will indicate that they would be in, in order to make a final decision wether this show will happen or not.
This would be purely for competitors. Therefore, competitors must provide feedback and show commitment to indicate to the sponsor that there is a point of putting in time, money and effort to make this happen.

I'm definitely in as well.
For the record, no one would consider me a serious competitor but I'm willing to participate in this to support the event, the sponsor and those hosting it. I think an event of this magnitude everyone should consider, regardless of expertise. There's not many events like you're describing, so how could I miss it?
