1. DEX I own one (DEH-PO1) but haven't installed it in over a year
2. No longer made, questionable quality construction (my 7100 is entertaining that way)
3. no longer made, HU is fine but the EQ modules quality was questionable on the newest unit
4. no idea what it is but it is eclipse so no longer made
5. not avail in this country, UBER expensive, some items have noise issues.... still sounds at least as good as the F#1

To this list I would add the Denon Z1 (discontinued) as it still sounds great (no EQ or DSP). You are correct in not listing the DRZ 9255 (discontinued) as it is close but not quite up to this list (I would say it is on par with the Eclipse) and the Pioneer P9 is still good (but also discontinued). The McIntosh HU is close to the Denon Z1 as a no frills HU
