Capacitors. Go big?

If I put a capacitor in my system whats going to be the difference from say.. 3 farad to... 250 farad? Just wondering if its going to be a good thing in any way.

I heard that a capacitor won't have any real value unless you only listen to rock or metal or any type of music with punchy, short bass hits. If you listen to rap with constant low frequencies, the capacitor will discharge in the time it takes to snap your fingers before having to recharge. The battery ends up seeing almost the same strain as if there was no capacitor at all. :P

The answer is get an extra battery, capacitors are useless.

There are also hybrid caps, much better than a standard cap.
They have the quick release of a standard cap along with quick charging and storage capabilities. Check out Stingers hybrids.

That being said, a large Stinger hybrid cap costs almost as much as a new battery...soooooooooooo...I'd vote get the extra battery

Ohh yeah, 3 farad vs 250? More storage
