Need Help With Kenwood Deck!

Hey guys, new to the forum.

I recently picked up with a kenwood dnx 6980 deck. It was all working great, until i read you could change the start up screen! So there i went i plugged in my usb with my photo and clicked it on the screen. I restarted the unit and the screen just turns on black but it is illuminated. None of the lights are on the buttons lit up but i can hear it turning on. I tried hitting the reset button but nothing happens at all, just starts up once again and black screen. Im really getting frustrated because im not sure what to do! i cant get to any screen to reset the unit, i even tried unplugging it from the black and the fuse.

If theres anything i can do or im missing anything is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Matt

Try disconnecting it from the power source for a few minutes. e.g. pull fuse, or remove negative, or disconnect harness

did you switch the screen saver for start up? try switching it back? pull fuse and replace it
unplug everything. hold the reset for 10+ seconds. disconnet the face if possible and clean the connections
