My buddy just put a ine-w940 in his truck and he wants to customize his boot screen with the manufacturer logo for a more factory look. I tried looking it up and it looks like it is possible on other alpine units but i can't find anything on the 940. Does anyone know if this is possible and if it is how to do it?

 

Sorry to dredge up an old thread for my first post, but I was wondering if anyone has been able change the splash screen on an INE-W940. I found these instructions on a Porsche forum. However one of the posters described some differences between the INE-W940 and other Alpine units. I'm willing to experiment, but I want to be sure that I won't lock up the unit before I proceed. Any guidance will be appreciated.
