You don't need three alternators. Use one good one and an appropriate number of batteries.

That what im going to do, I just sold my lanzar optidrive amp and i have been looking into cadence amps I do fiberglass and im workng on my demo car. I saw a 16v alternator 300amps and cadence can handle that easily and I found some really good batteries for a reasonable price.

Db drag or idbl ? Class?
Depends on what class you would like to fit best in.
I have run alot of power on a single battery and alt.
In competition, you want as much voltage for 5 seconds.
An adjustable regulator with a 200 amp alt and 1 or 2 group 31 batteries
will supply 20,000 watts with ease.
BTW agm Batts like 14.9 volts.
16v will shutdown many pcm
I have used 15.5v in outlaw. Rules will state voltage limits.
Alt for 16v system charge at 18v.....
