Alpine Ipod cable doesn't fit?

I got a new CDA-9885 awhile ago. And the KCE-422i Ipod cable. It's suppose to be the exact right cable but the end is too big and it will not clip in at all. I don't understand because it sais right on the Alpine site which cable to get.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to call Alpine and ask them very soon.

The manual says to use the KCE-422i.
It plugs into a cable that comes out the rear of the deck, not the deck itself.
Don't get it confused with the sat radio connector and don't try to plug it into the AInet connector.
