hey all, my knowledge of car stereos is extremely limited.
so i'm here to ask the experts help.

i just need some basic 6 1/2 inch speakers for my honda civic at a reasonable price (no more than $100).

i'd most likely get them from future shop, so if you could recommend what i should go with

defently go for the pioneers. stay away from any thing sony.

being that i have a clarion deck, should i be getting clarion speakers?

doesn't really matter in my opinion but i am a big fan of clarion, i also have one of their decks...the vrx935vd...thats the 7" widescreen dvd player....its sweet man ...but another thing you have to remember is that the clarion head units only put out an actual 17-25 watts rms perchannel....its right in the manual...so when you see the big numbers like the 50 x 4 .....you are only actually geting less than half of that ....at least for clarion anyway

 

hmm i see.
so if with my basic clarion deck (its nothing fancy) and 2 speakers on the sides, and 2 in the back...will the deck be able to handle that and put out a decent sound?


and another question:
i've been offered 4 used pioneer 6 1/2 speakers. around 3 years old

they are TS-A1640 2 way
and TS-A1645 2 way

how much would you pay for this?
