deck re-wiring
deck re-wiring
On the finishing stages of my install and I need to upgrade my deck power and ground wires. I've aquired 10 gauge power and ground and wanted to know if:
#1-going to the Battery directly Fused?
or
#2 tapping off my 2gauge power wire - Fused (easier to install) that feed my amps?
Thanks
Julian

I agree - Can I get away with using the amps power wire (and avoid noise) since it's ran down the center console 14inches from the deck?
This way I can do it after the comp this weekend?

I just don't see how you'd effectively splice 10awg into a 2awg, in theory theres no problem with it, but theres so many other power sources right there in the dash, or maybe I'm just not picturing exactly what you mean.
I'll run it to the batt - fused and dress it up with some loom. Thanks MTT - if your at the show on Sun come by and say hey - Orange Honda FIT 2007 - Julian
Cheers

Glad you got it resolved, and I will be at the show and will say "hey"
