Have you heard both sets? They do have a significant variance in sound quality. It all will come down to personal preference. I have run both Quarts and Focals, and I prefer the smoothness of the Focals. I find the midbass on the Focals is much more present as well.
The Quarts are still a fine speaker, just much different from the Focals.
Be sure you are able to listen to both pairs so you can gain a preference.
