Question Tri mode amp

Hi all, I have a Fosgate P3001 amp. It says it is tri mode capable. If I wanted to do this with my subs bridged and components run stereo will I still be able to use the built in xover? It does not mention this in the manual that I could find. I want to hook up 2x Kenwood subs @ 2 ohms mono and a set of JL audio 6.5" components @ 4 ohms stereo. I need the low pass for the subs and full range for the comps into their own xover. Anyway this will work or should I just run the comps off the deck for now until I get a new amp for the comps. Just wondering. I want to thank all for their help on here, I wish I had this 20 years ago while I was learning. Usually the smoky trial and error method. LOL

The only way to run your system "Tri-mode" is to utilize a passive cross-over network. You're better off getting a good two channel amp for your fronts. It's cheaper, cleaner and louder than using older technology.
I don't even know why they would even mention it anymore.

It's a mono amp, better off to run your speakers off the deck or invest in another amp.

If you were to do it I beleive you could only wire it at 1.5ohms (bad) or 3 ohms (alright).
