Ottawa area theft !!
Hey,
My loyal car (Matilda) was victimized last night. I left it outside the garage ('Autofab' on Bentley rd, off Merivale South) after some alternator/battery work was done. Lo and behold, I lost alot of my hard earned gear. So DON'T leave your car there and if you see any of my gear for sale, (Ottawa area or farther) please pass it up and give me a shout. I'd do it for you. And yes, the police have the ser. #'s.
- Clarion DXZ 725 (with head unit, remote, and faceplate case)
- Clarion DPX 1001.2 (grey/ ceramic colour)
- Two Pioneer GM X564 4 ch amps (grey/blue). They'll each be missing one RCA input.
- One set Orion XTR 1" silk tweets in angle pods.
- Two PG distribution blocks (3 zero awg in , 4 zero awg out) WITHOUT covers.
- One Bazooka (round) 12" in unfinished box. Model ELW1214.
I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, but if parasites keep buying it, they'll keep stealing and destroying. Cheers,

timmyturtle - that's a bummer. You were wise to have written down the serial #'s. If you have the time, pay a visit to the 15 or so pawn shops in town. You might also want to fax this info to the local stereo shops and offer a $100 reward. That would make it more tempting for the installers to drop the beans if they come across the equipment.
Sounds good. The problem is I'm working quite a bit right now. I'll ring/fax as many as I can. And by the way, it seems that, for kicks, the thieves decided to connect my 0 awg ground to my 0 awg power lead. The ends are melted. Melted. I haven't seen the rest, as she's in the shop right now (a different shop) because my headlights are not working now (even after I replaced all of the fuses that they stole) (stole, seriously). I'd ask why do people do such things, but I'd have more questions than answers. Thanks for the help gents. I'll have to boom vicariously for awhile...
My car was at Mister Transmission for warranty work, which costed ane xtra $900 out of my pocket
While it was in the shop, my Pioneer 6300MP got jacked. Biggest **** off in the world.....im in Ottawa too......
