Anyone stop by and visit this guy yet?
He seems to be in the process of ripping me off over on Sound Domain.com
I sent him my computer tower, he was supposed to send me a laptop and has been giving me excuses and stringing me out for about a month now. He said he sent it and sent me a picture of the shipping receipt with the tracking # on it but the tracking # doesn't work. The lady at Canada Post told me to check back Monday night on the tracking #.
Anyways, this is the same address I sent my item to. His name is Marc Levy. I checked the Laurier University student directory and found the name "Marc Levy", the name I sent my item to.
So has anyone stopped by and visited him yet? I will seriously pay money to anyone that can pay him a visit and recover my eMachines tower.
An individual over at Sound Domain suggested that I email the dean at Laurier University and anyone on the security staff there to tell them about him and let them know that this guy is using the university computer network to defraud people. We might not get our stuff back, but this will get him in a heap of trouble and get his *** kicked outta school for sure.

Dude.. the Cops and the University have got some recent complaints... get off your *** and call them yourself, and mail/fax them a copy of your shipping recipt.....
The school year is almost over and he'll probably be on to the next address by the end of the month...
Edit: so do the waterloo police even know this guys real name or who he is ????

</font>[/QUOTE]This isn't just "some guy on the internet" this is a complete felon who has ripped off atleast 50 people over the past three years for thousands of dollars. Don't you think it's atleast worth a shot to "report this guy on the internet" to authorities to try to bring a little justice in? If he is using the campus computer network to defraud people, I'm guessing the university would be quite interested in it.
I'm still waiting on my laptop from him. If it arrives this week like it is supposed to, I'm just going to get my *** outta this whole thing, and if it doesn't show up then I'm going to start making calls and emails and whatever else I can do.

Make a call to the OPP station in waterloo... that is probably your first and foremost step after obtaining the shipping slips ect...
I would ask the origional poster what the cops have had to say since you first called them... did they get back to you ??

I have been in contact thru email with the Staff Sergeant from the Waterloo Regional Police Service. this is his last email to me:

Could you supply me a phone number (home and work) so that I can contact
you re this matter? The University Police have made a few inquiries for
me and I would like to speak to you to give you some advice re this
matter. I am working again the upcoming Saturday through Tuesday day
shift.
