Saskatoon Break In

My car was broken into again this morning in Saskatoon, thank god the alarm went off. I wanted to post this as a heads up. This is the second time it's happened, and I wouldn't doubt if it was the same person as the smashed out the drivers side window. So just as a heads up for you Saskatoon guys, I'm in the silverwood area.

Nothing was stolen this time, as i believe my alarm scared them off. But in the summer I had lost a very distinguisable backpack (probably to the same person) as well as some CDs and a tool kit. I'm guessing it was the same person as the first time they smashed out the passenger side window, and now it was the drivers side.

Also before they tried to steal my stereo, but luckily my neighbor had seen him and called the police.

Talking

Too bad you just can't hook up a battery to the body of the car and if they try to brake in they'll get a nice jolt of power running through their body.
That would be something that I would like to try and get to work. Maybe some kind of wireing to the handle of the car then poof they are toast.
These guys are just scum!!! IMO.
Hope your luck gets better.

That's a good idea. reather than having thieves break into the car to steal your gear, run 12V through the body, and blow all the equipment before they get a chance to steal it

Aside from the liability, the body is grounded, how are you suposed to run 12V into it as well ?

man i only wish that our car was only broken into 2 times. we lived in surrey for 1 week before the fiirst break in and after repairing the door locks and windows i stopped repairing the door lock damage and leave them unlocked and have a broken ign. a screwdriver is all it takes to steal my car now.....it does have an alarm......but unbeleivably now that iboth dor locks are pushed in and the ign is broken .....they havent tried o break into it. crazy eh?
