Stolen Headunit/Speaks

Northern BC.

Curious, my receipt doesn't show a serial number. But there is a 6 digit number written across the top of the invoice. This is a Alpine CDE9852 headunit, would this be the serial number? Or possibly the last 6 digits or something?

I find it strange that there isn't one in the system. Purchased this in Prince George.

Any help would be great need to get back to the police today about it.

Did you keep the box?

Look on the box that the head unit came in, it might be on there, and if you purchased an extended warranty, it would most likely be on there (Sorry for the double post, want to make sure the OP reads this)

Thank you.

No, I literally tossed the box a few weeks ago, had the HU for awhile now.

Not a lot I can do, looking at a replacement now.

Anyone know a decent remote alarm system that isn't too expensive? Silent is ok too, I just want to be notified if someone is in my car, etc.
