the only part I hated was how it started like 3 hours late due to the test session going on. Is the show in Barrie a dbdrag or just CSPL?

Its a self perpetuating thing, you start late to wait for people, next time everyone comes late because they know you won't start on time. Sometimes you gotta just start and if people drive and come after qualifying is over then they will surely come on time the next time. Anyway it was over at a reasonable time but still everyone was getting antsy. I hope that Julies TF1 and DD cupcakes didn't **** the shop off because they don't sell that gear. I really dont understand shops though, when you have people at the store you need to have advertisements up to get interest and you need to promote the fact that you are having a show in the first place. These people don't promote and then wonder why noone shows up. A SPL comp is uselss if you don't promote, and I don't mean on here either, they need to get locals out, getting SPL competitors from CCA out is useless because we will never buy from the shop anyway, the only purpose of us coming it to help newbies catch the bug, unfortunately few newbies come because no promo is done before the show (or if it is done they need to come up with a better way to promote cause whatever they do isn't getting newbies out)

well, i am a newby and was at that show with the wife! it was our first! although we did not wait for it to finish. late start and all. we thought it was going to go on for a little longer than it did.
i did enter the store however and was very interested in purchasing or at the very least get pricing and info on a few things.. i must say that the person whom i was talking to was very helpful and informative. shame they were closed though.
i do agree, more andvertising would be a benifit. i was planning on having them install an alarm sys in my truck. untill some finance issues came about. "life, she can be a bitch at times". maybe i should find a new shop!
out of curiosity, just how much does it cost for these stores to put on a show??

That guy was a loser, when we had our show last year we gave power to EVERYONE, and we even were able to have about 7 cars inside our building overnight. Whats the point of hosting if you close your shop? We had special show prices on all of our products we sold some stuff and we had givaways aswell.
